Showering while dwelling house lonely with baby?

Okay, I know eventually this will be laughable, merely right at present when I am home alone with the baby I am too nervous to shower because I wouldn't be able to hear her. She's 1 month old today. We have the Halo bassinest she tin can be in while I shower, and she does nifty with naps and so I feel like I should shower when she's sleeping, but it but freaks me out. I always wait for opportunities where my husband is home and can lookout her earlier I'll shower. Am I solitary in this? How did y'all go yourself to get over it?

I practice this as well ! And if he starts crying I plow on my hair dryer for noise and he normally stops !! This has helped when he refuses to slumber at dark some times I just demand to have a v min shower to get my brain back in gear so I put him in his chair abreast the shower turn on my hair dryer and the racket ordinarily gets him to sleep long enough for me to relax for a few minutes in the shower

I always wait too. I similar being able to shower for long periods of time

I do the aforementioned! LO is in the rock and play in the bathroom with me and my curtain is almost half way open then I can see her. I'm sure I'll feel silly about information technology as she gets older, it'due south definitely for my condolement but it helps!! I learned to shower really fast merely seriously, the days I practice that I feel so much better and then much more productive than when I'g not clean. It's a life changer for sure

That is such a good idea!!! We take a stone n play and I've been keeping information technology downstairs everyday just maybe if I wanted to shower I could simply bring it upward. Our shower is all glass too and so I'd be able to meet her. Genius idea!!

Exactly my state of affairs. I have a drinking glass door and so I can run into him the whole time. If he's napping peacefully I'g able to relish a long shower without worrying :)

I too put baby in the rock and play and place information technology so I tin can see it. I also thought about bringing the infant monitor in the bathroom with me if he is sleeping in his crib. I think we as well just take to become more comfortable. This morning (or afternoon? Who knows what days even are anymore) i got in the shower, and jumped out the minute my babe started crying. I ended up nursing him soaking wet and naked because I just couldn't stand the idea of him crying and being hungry for more than than five seconds.

I'm also on Team Rock and Play in the Bathroom. Every bit a bonus the shower water running usually lulls baby to slumber and so I take prissy longgggg peaceful showers and gets to enjoy my time getting dressed after

I was the same way with my starting time. At present I just run in at that place and shower while the baby is comatose..I'm but gone for perchance five min. They'll be ok as even if they get-go crying it'due south not a big deal.

Yup I use my Chicco rocker and put her on the flooring adjacent to the tub while I shower (my routine is usually to shower myself first then run the bathroom and co-bathe with her for her washing) or to just bring the monitor in with me if she's napping in her bed.

I'm going to be real honest.....i put my baby girl in a laundry basket with blankets under her and prepare information technology on the bathroom floor! That was she tin can't whorl out and I tin can come across her. Our swings are all likewise heavy to exist dragging around.
